Senior Fitness

The purpose of Senior Fitness is to encourage a healthy lifestyle. A way of life in which physical activity is valued and integrated into daily living. Our mission is to prevent disease and improve the quality of life of people, ages 50 and older, living in the Flathead Valley. The program reinforces the many benefits of being active, as well as the serious consequences of inactivity. Our program offers a variety of ways to get active physically, intellectually and socially. Senior Fitness is a pivotal tool in maintaining and improving the health of adults in Northwest Montana. If you're not participating in any of our classes at this time, please feel free to drop in on a trial basis. Take the time to meet the Senior Fitness trainers and we'll help you start an effective exercise program or try new activities to reach your goal level of fitness and fun for Senior Fitness. Aerobics

Balance In Motion

Gentle movements and postures that include stretching with coordinating breathing with simple movements. Improves balance, posture, flexibility, strength and movements of joints. Taught by Denise Nisson.

Dollar Day

Enjoy all The Summit has to offer for just $1.00. If you’re not a member and want to give it a try, here’s your chance. Members are encouraged to bring a senior friend and show them the facility.

Light and Lively

Start or end your workout on a great note with this 20 minute low impact aerobic warm up with music.

Active Seniors

With JeAnna. Low impact aerobics taught at a slower pace. Strength, balance and flexibility are emphasized.

Ping Pong

Table tennis for all levels and abilities. All equipment is provided, just show up and have a good time! Sign up at the front desk.

Senior Hikers

Join us for a leisurely hike with your fellow Senior Members. We hike every Wednesday during the summer months. Previous hikes consisted of trails in the Jewel Basin and Glacier National Park. The weekly trail is scheduled by the Monday prior to the hike. Flyers will be posted on Monday. If you have any questions please call Sue at 751-4116. #2371.




Stretch, Flex & Balance

Successful Living Book Club
