Location

Kalispell, Montana. Located in the Flathead Valley in Northwest Montana next to the Canadian border, Glacier National Park and Big Mountain Ski & Summer Resort.

Pay

This is a non-paid internship in which the intern will receive a complementary membership to the Summit for the duration of their internship.



Requirements

Currently enrolled in accredited school. Proof of immunizations records, current CPR certification, proof of liability insurance and current negative TB test. Energetic, positive attitude and detail-oriented person. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills preferred. Willingness to learn, and participate in Summit daily functions. Ability to work with all ages and abilities. Must be willing to complete all requirements of the internship experience. Must be able to work within the framework of company policies and procedures. Punctuality and attendance are expected.



Details

Intern would be working for The Summit Health Center, which is an affiliate of the Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Work is done mostly indoors. Interns will be expected to wear the Summit uniform of khaki pants or shorts, a solid colored shirt and employee badge while working.



Housing & Transportation

The Summit does not provide housing or transportation.



Relationships

Responsible to the Publications and Technologies Specialist. Employees supervised, none. Interrelationships; Works closely with ALL departments.



General Duties

Responsibilities are to be determined based on areas offered and the applicant area of interest. Opportunities will be available to learn about and explore all departments within The Summit.



Specific Duties

Duties may include photograpy of all departments within The Summit including, youth programs, cardiac rehab, special events, aquatics, climbing wall, personal training, tennis, racquetball, fitness programs, aerobics, child care, post processing using Photoshop, customizing unique applications, the budgeting process, marketing techniques, advertising relationships, inter-departmental cooperation, information gathering and other duties as may be assigned.
