Body Balance - Workshops, Support Groups, Educational Presentations

Body Balance Bariatric Support Group
Having bariatric surgery does not guarantee successful weight loss. Key factors to success include eating a healthy diet, exercise and the ongoing support of those who share this experience with you. This group is dedicated to those who have already had surgery. It is a time to discuss issues, share successes and trade helpful hints with one another. A Motivational Mentor and a Registered Dietitian will lead the group.

Days: First Friday of each month
Time: 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Where: Summit conference rooms
Cost: $5.00, please pay at the front desk. Pre-registration required at the front desk





Healthy Habits for Life

“Healthy Habits for Life” is a 12 week guide to food and fitness. This common sense approach to healthy living will help you to establish lifelong eating and activity habits that will put you on the road to health. It is designed to help you make gradual permanent changes in your lifestyle resulting in higher energy levels and decreased health risks. Taught by Holly Nickels, RD.

Price: Includes materials and 30 minute individual session with our Dietitian.
Summit Employees or Members and NWHC Employees: $144 per person
Non Members: $200 per person
Pre-Registration is required.

Low Fat Cooking . . . Great Taste

Date, times & location to be announced. This hands-on class is designed to teach low fat cooking techniques. A full course dinner including the entrée, side dishes and dessert will be prepared.
