Co-ed Volleyball League - Corporate

(2006-2007 Winter Season)

Corporate Teams

We can help increase staff morale and cohesiveness. We can give your business to have more positive energy. Here are some ideas on how you can improve your staff’s energy, attitude and working relations. Sponsor a team for one of the Summit sports leagues this winter! The Summit is offering adult volleyball and soccer. These leagues are purely recreational so anyone at any skill level can play.

How sponsoring a team helps you:
  • build teamwork among employees
  • increase morale among employees
  • advertise your business with your team name in the local paper, Summit website & on team shirts
  • allow employees from different shifts and even locations to meet and mingle
  • increase work output due to a healthier and more fit staff

How to sponsor a team:
  • encourage employees to join the team
  • provide team shirts with your business logo
  • help pay the cost of league registration fees
  • become the captain and organizer for your team

What the league experience did for us:
McDonald’s has sponsored the “Big Macs” volleyball team for 4 seasons. The company assisted with registration fees and purchased team t-shirts. The manager who organized the team, Sheila Flowers, said that the increased morale and working relations between the staff improved throughout the league season. The group took pride in their team and had a great time getting to know each other outside of work.

Team names and scores will be printed weekly in the Daily Interlake and updated on the Summit website. We will do a team photo for the Summit website as well. Please contact The Summit if you have any questions or if you are interested in encouraging a happier and healthier staff by sponsoring a team! We are more than willing to help you in any way possible to get a team together quickly if you are interested.
