Job Analysis
Performed by an experienced vocational rehabilitation counselor at your site. The analysis identifies the physical demands of the position. This is the foundation for employment screening, testing, and fitness for duty evaluations.



Health History Review
Performed by an experienced registered nurse. You will be notified the day of the exam if risk factors are identified which need further investigation before the person can be cleared for work. We will not proceed without your authorization to do so.



WorkSTEPS Functional Testing
WorkSTEPS Functional Testing is based on the physical requirements of the job. This tests the individual’s physical ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position as identified in the Job Analysis and provides the employer with baseline measures of the applicant at the time of hire. Body mechanics are assessed during the test.



Clearance For Work
Documentation is sent to the employer which will state a recommended pass or fail. Our documentation to the employer will not include medical information.



Hearing Screening
  • Meets OSHA requirements
  • Hearing Conservation Services to administer your program
  • Audiometric testing of the work environment and machinery to determine risk
  • Hearing booth at your site is optional






Vision Screening
Meets Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.



Respirator Medical Evaluation
  • Questionnaire Review only
  • Questionnaire Review and Examination
  • Pulmonary Function Test
  • Qualitative Respirator Fit Test for N-95 particulate respirators
  • Fit test




Records Retention
Records are secured and maintained confidentially at our clinic. Records are retained according to legal and OSHA requirements.



Fitness For Duty Exam
Focused medical exam based on the job analysis.



DOT Physical
Meets Department of Transportation requirements.



OSHA Medical Surveillance (Focused) Physical Exam

Occupational Health and Wellness Services is a nationally approved collection center and all collectors are site certified.
