S.T.A.R. - InfoS. T. A. R. Clinical Mentoring ProgramThe Step-Up to Active Rehab (S.T.A.R.) program serves as a bridge between your medically supervised clinical therapy & independence. The program is for individuals with diagnosed medical problems that have recently completed medical treatment but require additional supervision. We work closely with the Physical Therapist & referring Physician to determine limitations & special considerations related to the client’s health. The fees of our program are dependent upon the length of membership prescribed and phase of therapeutic intervention. How the Program Works Our clinical staff educates the members on how the equipment operates, performing the prescribed exercises and most importantly, avoidance of a re-injury. With this knowledge and experience, the members are able to build a program based on their accomplishments and continue at their own pace on the days and times of their choice. Follow-up sessions are scheduled according to each client’s individual requirements. Goals:
Program Length The initial program is typically for 1-3 months. Recommendations by the Clinical Exercise Specialist, Case Manager or Physician may authorize extensions within all phases that typically do not total more than 6 months. Attendance and adherence to the exercise program is mandatory.
