Accelerate Sports Conditioning

Accelerate your athletic performance to the next level. Looking to improve athletic functioning, out perform your competition and enhance skills? Accelerate Sports Conditioning is designed just for you. Boys and girls in grades 8th - 12th will benefit from this balanced program that will enhance skills and increase proficiency in their field of play. Accelerate Sports Conditioning will focus on the development of speed, agility, quickness, core power/ stability, and plyometric training along with sports specific movements and technique in a safe environment. Athletes will be tested on the first and last day of camp to track their progress. Results and program training cards will be provided to each athlete at the end of the session. The Accelerate Sports Conditioning program is instructed by Philip Jackson. His background and experience include a degree in Health and Physical Education from Carroll College, Youth and Children’s Fitness Director at Helena’s Broadwater Athletic Club and working with the four time NAIA National Champion Carroll College Fighting Saints football team, the Frontier Conference Champion men’s and women basketball teams. Currently Philip is a fitness instructor at The Summit Medical Fitness Center and coaches football and basketball at Flathead High School. Philip has been training and coaching athletes for the past six years were he has adopted the philosophies of the Bigger Faster Stronger program along with Nike SPARQ training. Each athlete will receive an Accelerate Sports Performance training T-shirt.

Soccer League (Boys Ages 13-15)

Indoor soccer open to all abilities. Minimum of 8 games. Round robin schedule and a single elimination tournament. 2007-2008 Schedule Teams will consist of 5 players on the floor at one time (4 players plus a goalie). The maximum number of teams allowed in this league is 8. Shin guards are required to play. Official FIFA rules will be enforced by the officials. Registration is required by November 21. Team coach or captain must attend mandatory meeting on December 1 at 8:00 pm to go over rules, turn in parent-signed waivers and pick up season schedule. Team players may attend and scrimmage play after the meeting. Play begins December 8. Season Ends in mid March. More Info

Table Tennis

Available in Studio B anytime that it is not being used by another class. See the schedule for Studio B for informal group play where anyone is welcome to join in and play. Three tables, paddles and balls are available.




Teen Gym

Open gym dedicated specifically to Summit member teens 13-18 years old.

Summer: Tuesday, Thursday from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm;
  Friday from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
  Saturday, Sunday from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Winter: Monday - Friday from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm
  Saturday from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Teen Night

Climbing wall (climbing wall waiver signed by parent is required), swimming pool, hot tub, gymnasium, track, ping-pong, walleyball and racquetball are available. Specially scheduled activities such as dances and karaoke available some nights. Weight and fitness machines are not available. Tennis not available. Parent permission slip is required. Doors close at 10:15 pm. No Teen Night program on Saturday after Thanksgiving or during the holiday break. More Info             Flyer

Youth Fitness Orientation

All youth ages 13-17 who become new Summit members MUST complete a Youth Fitness Orientation (YFO) in order to use the fitness equipment. The one hour course will cover fitness center etiquette, exercise program design, proper equipment use, training tips, safety, etc. Any youth presently using the fitness equipment that Summit staff feels may require additional instruction will be required to complete this orientation before they can continue to use the facility. Registration is required. Please call the Fitness Desk at 751-4102 to schedule an appointment.
