Teen Night - Info



Dates and Times

Saturday nights from 10:00 pm - 12:00 Midnight.
No Teen Night on the Saturdays after Thanksgiving, on Christmas Eve and on New Years Eve.
Please do not arrive earlier than 9:45 pm.
Starts October 14, 2006. Ends March 17, 2007.





Cost

Only $2.00 per person per night.
Summit members are always FREE!





Ages

For all youth, currently in 7th - 12th grade.




Parent Permission Slip

Each teen must turn in a parent permission form to attend. The parent permission form can be obtained at the front desk in The Summit or printed from The Summit website. Go to forms page.




Locked Doors

The Summit doors are locked between 10:15 pm & 11:45 pm. Entry and exit during this time is allowed only with parent permission. Please plan your arrival and departure accordingly.

Use of the cardiovascular and weight equipment is prohibited during this program.
No street shoes are allowed anywhere in the fitness area, only clean gym shoes.





Climbing Wall

Climbing shoes and a climbing harness are required to use the climbing wall and are available for FREE! All climbers must have a parent-signed Summit Climbing Wall Release Form on file in order to use the climbing wall. Please pick up a release form in advance, have your parents sign it and bring the completed form with you to the wall. Climbing wall forms may also be printed from The Summit website. Behavior

Please bring good attitudes, respect and politeness. Inappropriate behavior is not tolerated at The Summit. It is the responsibility of all persons entering The Summit to know the policies and be responsible for their actions. Inappropriate behavior will be addressed swiftly and fairly according to Summit policies. Behavior policy guidelines may be printed from The Summit website and will be available at Teen Night. Bag Check

All bags will be searched at the front desk. Carriers of contraband will be turned over to the appropriate authorities. Tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, knives, skateboards and rollerblades are prohibited.




Food

Food and drinks other than water are not allowed beyond the lobby gates. Zeus's Juices (the deli) will be offering mini pizzas, hot dogs, soda, candy bars and other food.




Attendance Incentive

All participants who attend at least 10 times before the last teen night will get a free pass for Teen Night and will be entered into an end of the season drawing to be held on the last Teen Night program for the year.




Locker Rooms

The Summit is not responsible for articles lost, stolen or damaged in, on or about the facility . A locker card may be checked out for the night with a $5.00 deposit.




Chaperones

Adult chaperones volunteer their time each Saturday night to help facilitate the Teen Night program. If you are interested in volunteering as an adult chaperone, please call Kevin at The Summit at 751-4133. Chaperones are required to be at The Summit from 9:45 pm - 12:00 midnight and should wear casual clothes and gym shoes. Chaperones will receive a FREE Summit guest pass for each night that they volunteer. Chaperones and other adults are not allowed to use The Summit facilities during Teen Night unless they are needed to assist special needs teens or are directing an activity.

Partnership Program

The Teen Night program is a cooperative partnership between The Summit, United Way, Flathead C.A.R.E. and community volunteers. The program was introduced in January of 1996.
